Investment Application Procedures
1. Discuss investment situations and obtain investment application forms : Investment Services Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 1 of its branch.
2. Investigate fields and select plants or land : Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch.
3. Apply for pre-screening of company name and business scope : Department of
Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs (Note: Online application is available.)
4. Pay the reservation fee to the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs (or its branch) for leasing lands or purchasing plants
(The reservation fee is 50% of the annual land rent or 5% of the plant area sales price) : Pay to the bank with a payment note issued by Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch.
5. Company can send the email (scroll below) to Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs for investment preliminary review.
6. Submit investment application proposals : Investment Services Division of the
Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 1 of its branch
7. After examining the proposal
(1)Approved - The reservation fee is refunded in total after contracting the land lease; or the fee
is retained by the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs if the contract is not signed before the deadline : Construction and
Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
(2)Not approved - The reservation fee is refunded without interest : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
8. Apply for evaluation of remitted funds (only applicable to foreign investors) : Investment Services Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 1 of its branch
9.
(1) Obtain a plant land use permit (including a land lease contract and plant purchase or lease
certificate). The procedure is as follows if the plant is built by the company on the leased
land : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its
branch
(2) Apply for land allotment : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs
or Section 3 of its branch
(3) Sign a land lease contract : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
(4) Apply for a construction license : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
(5) Apply for a construction start permit : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
(6) Apply for a use license : Construction and Land Development and Construction Management Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs
or Section 3 of its branch
10. Apply for company registration : Investment Services Division of the Bureau of ndustrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or
Section 3 of its branch
11. Apply for an operation permit
(1) Buildings, facilities, labor conditions, environments, and fire control all conforms to
regulations : Environment and Labor Affairs Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 4 of its branch
(2) Submit a copy of floor layout and a copy of machinery inventory : Environment and Labor Affairs Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 4 of its branch
12. Apply for registration as a profit-making business in an Technology Industrial Park (including factory
establishment and importer/exporter registrations) : Investment Services Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch
13. Apply for tax registration to tax authorities; apply for factory establishment and
importer/exporter registrations if engaged with producing or processing operations : Tax
authority; Investment Services Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 3 of its branch; or Section 2 of its branch
14. Technology Industrial Park enterprises producing, buying, or selling bonded goods should apply with the customs
authority for approval and assistance. Enterprises that produce no bonded products should
apply to the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or its branch before beginning operations : Customs authority; or Investment Services Division of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Section 2 of its branch
From investment and plant establishment to customs clearance, labor-related matters, and environmen-tal permits, business entities in the Technology Industrial Park can complete all these tasks in these zones.
