1.Semiconductor packaging and testing
The Nanzih EPZ is home to several semiconductor packaging and testing companies, including Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Group, NXP Semiconductors Taiwan Ltd., and Orient Semiconductor Electronics, as well as 27 supporting companies. These operations account for 78% of the production value at the EPZ.
2.Basic information of Nanzih EPZ
(1)Establishment:Nanzih EPZ was established in 1968.
(2)Area: The total area is 92.33 hectares, of which 71.74 hectares are for rent. Currently the rental area is 71.74 hectares (Occupancy is now100%).
(3)Overview of in-zone companies：
A.Number of approved investment companies：a total of 85, with 50 Chinese companies, 18 foreign companies, and 17 joint ventures.
B.Major industries:
(A)Key industry: 32 companies engage in semiconductor packaging and testing industry, accounting for 80.13% of the total investment and 83.43% of turnover.
